Angela brings extensive interdisciplinary experience in mental health, substance use, domestic violence, infectious disease, and program planning, development, and evaluation. Throughout her career, she has worked across healthcare, public health, community, and justice-based settings in both Canada and the United States.


Her professional experience includes roles with leading organizations such as SickKids Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), South Riverdale Community Health Centre, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in New York City, Palladia Inc. in Harlem, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office Counselling Services Unit in Brooklyn, Outpatient Psychiatry at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO), and the Commonwealth Caribbean Youth Centre in Georgetown, Guyana.
